We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings in solid format that are used in the design & manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have experience minimum 5 years in Mechanical drafting and design, as well as knowledge of industry-specific software and tools.
Responsibilities
Create technical drawings and plans for production processes (experience with Solidworks is a must)
Collaborate with engineering and Production team other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings
Review and revise drawings as necessary to meet project requirements
Maintain accurate records of all drawings and related documentation
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on technical feasibility and manufacturability
Assist in the development of new products and processes
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Mech Eng. , drafting, design, or related field preferred
Minimum 5+ years of experience in drafting and design
Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Revit a must
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
MUST have Knowledge of Sheet metal manufacturing ,Machining and 3D printing processes and materials
